Be Inspired By Your Past

Be Inspired By Your Past

There are times in our life where we forget God’s mercy. We try hard to convince ourselves that everything is good and perfect but deep inside something is missing. The best thing to do at this point is to disconnect from the world and reconnect yourself to the real you. Get out of distraction and set aside a quiet time alone to look back and review your life history.

Draw out inspiration from the past. We will be reminded of God’s provision from what He has done and given in times of our need. Remember that day when you were praying for cash or seeking for a complete healing? How about that favor when you prayed to face your boss and finish a big task that is career-changing? Do you still remember the time where your health is down or your family is not around to comfort you?

Never fail to look back and remind yourself of God’s mercy.

Worrying will hinder our miracle to arrive. Most of the time we depend on our own power and we try to finish everything with our own hands. Remember the grace that was given to us even if we fail to acknowledge it.

Lessen your social media time or logout from Facebook and use that time to equip yourself and be ready to face your fears.

In reality, most of us run away from life by hiding or spending time in social media.

Are you experiencing boredom in your ministry or in your career? You may be waiting for your salary to come and itching yourself to buy that gadget or waiting to spend your money for travel and be careless like YOLO (You Only Live Once). Perhaps your life is in status quo and you are enjoying in your comfort zone.

Try to recollect yourself and remind the inner you of your purpose – why you are living.

Don’t be afraid to start all over and reset. From my experience, God will help you start your dream. He will then provide for your needs and even grant the desires of your heart. Finally, He will give you the courage to finish. It could be that dream, or goal or whatever you are destined to do at some point of your life.

Look back at your past experiences and the victories just to convince yourself that no problem is permanent. No deadline is eternal. All challenges, mental blocks, spiritual blocks or any hindrances in reaching your full potential will stop you in completing your purpose.

Stay positive because God is in control. Remember to live in your present and not in virtual reality.

Let me leave you a familiar verse:

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
